  1. ok i have curly hair , the curls arent so tight but not so loose that its wavy, i think they are kinda like taylor swift’s curls.so i try to keep my hair not frizzed when i wash my hair but i just dont know how to. I use mousse , gel, hairspray, and something else for curly hair, and a leave in conditioner-gel. i try not to touch it while its drying so i put my hair in a bun for about 15 or 20 min and then take off the bun and its ok , no frizz, but after a while it gets really frizzy. PLEASE HELP !! tell me what to do from washing hair to how to comb it , just EVERYTHING, on how to care for curly hair pleasee help!!!!!

  3. I have hair that’s hard to manage due to the frizz and… the poofy-ness of it all (those of you with curly hair will know what I’m talking about) so I’ve been looking for ways to eliminate the frizz and calm down my hair a bit. I’ve tried product after product, and it seems like I just can’t find anything that works. The humidity level here is super high, so I wonder if that’s to blame… Even products that my hair stylists have recommended don’t do it for me. People tell me I should just straighten my hair if I’m tired of dealing with it like this, but I really want to learn how to work with my natural hair type. I love my curls, I just don’t know how to manage them very well… Since I’ve tried so many products that are out there already I was wondering if there were any natural or home-made formulas I could try out. I’d also like to see if my curls could become more soft and supple, but I don’t even know if that’s possible without doing something chemical… It’s just that gel makes my curls hard and crunchy, while the products that claim they’ll get rid of the frizz while keeping my hair soft, just don’t work.

Thanks, those of you who take the time to read this! I’m just trying to find out the best ways to take care of my hard-to-manage curls so any advice would do, really =)

My hair never stays shiny or keeps thats scrunching look. It always puffs back up and drys out. (I wet it before doing the process)

  7. I love books on beauty, make up and fashion. I use them for inspiration and to pick up helpful hints;)
    My favorites are:
Pretty: The Nylon Book of Beauty- I love the way this book has little blurbs about beauty icons, their products suggestions are also good. It’s great for inspiration!
Vogue Make Up- This is a really interesting book and great to have on hand, it has a lot of little tips and tricks I didn’t know about!
Curly Girl: The Handbook- Taught me how to care for my hair since I’m the only one in my immediate family with curly hair
    What are yours and why?

  8. So i grew my hair out this past year and its now shoulder length. Im a 19 year old guy and ive always been told i look like a pretty boy do to my green eyes, thick eyelashes and swimmer physique. So i decided to let my beard grow put as well as my hair. I just went to get a haircut yesterday and had them style my long hair to stay out of my eyes. I then got back home and shaved my beard. I looked in mirror and i look like a girl. My face looks so feminine with the hair. I put my glasses on and it made me look like a hot librarian. Should i cut my hair, i like the feel of long hair but i think i just cant make it look masculine.
